Carla Mabrey spent the first part of her legal career defending negligence claims. Armed with an invaluable insight into the insurance defense industry, Carla joined forces with John Mabrey in 2000 to focus solely on representing individuals hurt or killed by someone else’s negligence.
Carla also specializes in the negotiation and resolution of Medicare and Medicaid subrogation lien issues as they arise during the course of litigation.
Carla graduated from the University of Georgia in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After working in the corporate world for several years, Carla returned to the University of Georgia and earned her law degree in 1993.
Carla is presently a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Atlanta Bar Association, and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Carla has served in the past on the executive boards for the State Bar of Georgia’s General Practice and Trial Section, the Civil Justice PAC, and the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers.
Carla is admitted to practice in all trial and appellate courts in Georgia.
Carla maintains an AV Preeminent Rating as established by Martindale-Hubbell. This is Martindale-Hubbell’s highest possible rating for both ethical standards and legal ability.
